What is a Client Default?

A client default is a status that a client is placed in either temporarily or permanently subject to Terms of Service and our Refund Policy.

Unpaid Balances

Not paying for the following may result in Client Default status

  • Booking Fees
  • Deposits
  • Partial-Payments/Payment Arrangements
  • Full-Payments - not paying the full balance of your bill within the specified due date may result in client default.

Here is an example of what a payment schedule looks like on an Ivy Blake Design invoice:

Client Content or Details Not Submitted

The client is responsible for content like images, logos, text, or other content types in order for your project to be completed or started in some cases. If the client does not submit within the specified period your project status may be placed in default and subject to Terms of Service.
